Your local Isuzu UTE Dealer has invested a great deal of resources in ensuring your Isuzu UTE Vehicle can be serviced in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Choosing an Isuzu UTE Dealer Service Centre for your vehicles service gives you the peace-of-mind that the maintenance or repair is performed with factory-trained technicians.
Isuzu UTE Dealers and Authorised Service Outlets, are the only service centres that have direct technical support with Isuzu UTE, who in turn have a direct affiliation with Isuzu Motors Japan. Technical bulletins are regularly circulated across its network to ensure vehicles are inspected and repaired efficiently and correctly in accordance with strict guidelines laid down by Isuzu Motors.

If I service my vehicle with an independent service centre will this void my warranty?
No, servicing your vehicle at non-Isuzu UTE approved service centres will not void your vehicle’s warranty. However, warranty may be denied for that part of the Vehicle that has been affected by that independent service repair entity where the non-authorised service, repair or part fitting (or any series of those) are of a causative nature to the defect.
Any part of the Vehicle which fails or malfunctions resulting from incorrect service or non-genuine replacement part would not be covered by this warranty. In addition, if servicing is not completed to Isuzu UTE’s specifications, this Service Warranty for that part of the vehicle that has been affected by this non-authorised work may be invalidated. As a new vehicle it is recommended not to tow until the drivetrain of the vehicle (engine, transmission, and drive line) have had sufficient time to run-in. My cruise control does not resume to the pre-set speed after slowing down. Why?
For 19MY models and earlier, if the vehicle is brought to a near stop or reduced under the minimum operating speed, Resuming to the pre-set speed with the switch will be cancelled and will not operate. The set speed will however be maintained and can be reactivated when the minimum operating speed is achieved. Please refer to your Owner’s and Driver’s manual for information specific to your model vehicle.
Combining convenience with safety, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and the conventional Cruise Control features both fitted to the D-MAX and MU-X use operating conditions to determine when the cruise system can operate and at what speed it is safe to do so.
ACC when combined with Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) will determine these operating conditions and beyond providing warnings will also intervene in certain circumstances to help keep the vehicle within its driving lane, and the safe operating parameters of the ACC. Conditions below the minimum threshold for ACC operating speed, or hazards within the line of path of the vehicle will result in the ACC and LKAS systems disengaging and will require your intervention to re-enable them once driving conditions are safe to do so.
Does my vehicle have a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)?
For vehicle models earlier than 16.5MY, they are not fitted with a DPD (Diesel Particulate Defuser). However, the Euro 5 series Isuzu UTE vehicles (16.5MY and onwards) are fitted with a DPD.
16.5MY and later vehicle models are fitted with a Diesel Particulate Defuser (DPD) which forms part of the vehicle’s Exhaust Gas Treatment System. The DPD captures particulate matter from your vehicle’s exhaust emissions. This captured matter is then burnt off as the exhaust temperature increases to prevent future environmental impact.
How does Diesel Particulate Defuser (DPD) regeneration occur?
Normally the DPD regeneration occurs automatically when Particulate (PM) build up within the DPD reaches a predetermined threshold and exhaust temperature have reached the minimum standards for DPD operation.
How do I perform the DPD Operator Regeneration procedure?
To perform the Operator Regeneration procedure, drive at a constant mid to high-speed RPM of 2000rpm, for approximately 20 minutes until the high-temperature indicator on the instrument cluster turns off (if the DPD light is lit). It is very important that this procedure is performed when the DPD light is illuminated on the instrument cluster otherwise damage may occur. Please refer to your Owner’s and Driver’s Manual for information relating to DPD use specific to your model vehicle.

How does Trailer Sway Control work?
Trailer Sway Control (TSC) is an extension of the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system that helps detect and mitigate trailer sway when towing. Using sensors that monitor yaw, steering input and vehicle motion, the system can apply individual wheel braking and adjust engine torque to help stabilise the vehicle and trailer combination.
It is important to note that the TSC feature, although operational in many conditions, cannot overcome the physical limits of an overloaded or improperly loaded trailer. You must always ensure your trailer is loaded correctly, within legal weight limits, and that you drive to the conditions when towing.
